Peer Networking
CMWN holds quarterly Peer Networking meetings that offer training and time to meet other Peer Workers at no additional cost. Training topics are drawn from the Core Competencies for Peer Support Professionals (PSP) and training certificates are awarded for any training attended. Each meeting includes time to network and meet other Peers who are doing similar work and learn about employment opportunities. Meetings are open to anyone trained or working as a PSP. This can include those who have trained or worked as a PSS in other states and have relocated to Colorado.

Additional Trainings
If you have already been trained as a Peer Support Professional and are looking to expand your network, check out the National Association of Peer Supporters (NAPS). NAPS is a national organization made up of people who provide peer support services in a wide range of settings, and endorse and champion the peer support movement.
Additionally, NAPS aims to support the growth and development of the peer movement as a whole. Members of NAPS can access webinars, trainings, and community learning opportunities frequently provided throughout the year. Click here to learn more about how to become a member of our national peer support organization.
For those who are looking to continue their education or training, we’ve provided a list of organizations who frequently provide trainings surrounding peer support, recovery, and mental wellness.
