Mindfulness practice is a technique that helps shift your thoughts away from your usual preoccupations toward an appreciation of the moment and a larger perspective on life.
Studies show that practicing mindfulness improves both mental and physical health. Mindfulness involves both concentration (a form of meditation) and acceptance.
Not sure if the practice is for you? Why not come find out! Instructor Joann Calabrese will share some basic mindfulness tools, with time to experience them in class. Additionally, Joann will help participants create a plan for integrating the practice into busy lifestyles.
